The service troops of system operators and service providers need an ideal voltage detector which can be used easily and safely at any operating equipment in their system area.

The modular voltage detector system PHE III of DEHN + SÖHNE is an allround type of application. Because of the extra long test probes it is suitable for tower stations with elongated lengths up to 1500 mm. It can be used in type-tested switchgear and controlgear with certification of switchgear constructor and voltage detector producer. The telescopic insulating rod with its full length of 10.6 m is ideal for use at overhead lines, and of course it is suitable for all standard systems according to DIN VDE 0101.

The heart of the voltage detector system, the probe type PHE III, has a standby function which activates the detector when touching live operating equipment and gives a visual and acoustical signal of “Live State”. Batteries can be exchanged easily without additional tool.
