“The new MPS is the ninth new printing machine being installed at Ulrich Etiketten since the year 2000”, says General Manager Dr Karl Ulrich happy, “and it’s the first machine of this type in Austria.”
The Austrian market leader in the production of self-adhesive labels continues its determined investments. In June 2006, an UV-offset VIVA 340 printing machine was installed. In the meantime, the respectable machine park includes 18 printing machines. One of the advantages of the newest machine, an MPS EF 410, is the quick register setting as well as the marginal misprint. A paper width of 410 mm and a print width of 400 mm allow application of nine printing units.
The maximum printing speed is 130 – 150 m/minute. Two stations for coldfoil stamping, UV-laminate or self-adhesive laminate, the de-lamination as well as the turncross can be moved very user-friendly on a guide rail independent of the station. In principle, the paperturn is possible after each printing station. With the new MPS, Multi-Labels can be produced more efficiently.
