Modern PC Terminals are modular!

For Process Visualization on-site GECMA designed this modern Remote PC terminals for Zone 1, -2, -22 hazardous areas in chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical applications – in a flexible modular design.

For Operation and Visualization all components of a CHALLENGER terminal are designed in intrinsically safe technology. Following this concept all components (displays, pointing devices, card readers….) could be configured following the special requirements of each plant. All CHALLENGER components could be integrated in our ergonomic stainless steel FHP housing (GMP-, clean room standard) or in on-site walls either in existing cabinets.

The CHALLENGER electronic for data transmission is made by ourselves and transfers the data of a control room pc up to 600m into hazardous areas. The VGA/MOUSE/KEYBOARD signals are transmitted by an high-performance transmission unit to the on-site terminal. Without modifications of soft- and hardware an operation and visualization of control software (Siemens PCS 7, Simantec, Emerson Delta V ie.....) is possible.
