EXPLORER – to fulfill the requirements of each on-site operation station the highest-performance panel pc is based on a modular concept. With up to 1.6 GHz CPU / 1 GB RAM / 60GB HDD or up to 4 x 4 GB Flash Cards performance and memory is modularly configurable as well as the interfaces. Since Feb. 07 WLAN, BLUETOOTH and USB Memory stick /-key are available for data transmission in hazardous areas zone 1 / 2 / 21 (class I, div. 1/ class I, zone 2).

BLUETOOTH:
Bluetooth data transmission from EXPLORER panel pc to other bluetooth devices in hazardous areas – up to 100m - Class 1 - USB V1.1

WLAN:
WLAN data transmission up to 54-108 Mbit/s (IEE 802.11b / IEE 802.11g) – security methods WEP / WPA

USB Memory Stick:
For the manual transport of data in hazardous areas - 1 / 2 GB.

USB Docking Station:
For data transmission from intrinsically safe interfaces to non-intrinsically safe interfaces.
