Tecan and Cerionx announced an exclusive distribution agreement for the supply and marketing of the Cerionx 8-channel TipCharger Systems to the worldwide biopharmaceutical market.TipCharger will be an integrated and supported component to Tecans automated liquid handling and robotics workstations, including the Freedom EVO series. Cerionx revolutionized the process of cleaning pipet tips used on automated liquid handlers by using cold atmospheric pressure plasma. Today, the Company introduces the next generation of the TipCharger System, incorporating a new Controller Module to the system that has helped increase the reproducibility of results and cost efficiency, shorten automation cycle times, and eliminate environmental waste and liquid disposables in automated assays.
