Block-style inductive distance sensor BAW R03

The key feature of this sensor is its compact construction particularly in the detection axis. With a housing height of just 6 mm it is ideal for a variety of applications in automated assembly technology and processes.

As a consequence of their tubular construction, distance sensors normally take up a lot of space in along the detection axis. The block-style design of the BAW R03 requires just 6 mm of mounting space in the direction of the active surface. This means the series requires much less space and fits in locations previously inaccessible to tubular analog proximity sensors. The sensor is available with integrated cable or connector, M8 or M12.
