Among the GSE range and Maintenance Tooling which is being displayed in Munich, one can find the biggest ever manufactured aircraft tripod jack, the Wing Jack for the the A380.
One single A380 Wing Jack with a 200 t nominal load has the capacity to lift 5 unladen A318 aircraft at once. The dimensions and weight of these jacks are unprecedented and represent a milestone in the production history of Hydro. With deadweight of some 10 t this wing jack is a new challenge - not only to A380 maintenance personnel. With the PowerCat electro-hydraulic cart, Hydro provides a simply yet easy solution for handling all kind of oversize GSE.
