Alignment-free External Light Source

Leica Microsystems has launched another innovation - an alignment-free external fluorescence light source tailored to all Leica microscopes. With a service life of up to 3,000 hours, the Leica EL6000 lasts nearly ten times as long as a conventional mercury lamp, providing a long-term reduction of operating costs. The metal halide lamp is designed for upright and inverted microscopes, as well as stereomicroscopes. Thanks to its optimised internal light flow, the product is not only cool, but also quieter than other external light sources on the market.
