New REG Mobile ANPR Camera

Derwent demonstrated it's new REG Mobile ANPR camera at Ifsec 2005. The REG Mobile unit is the complete integrated, flexible, solution for mobile number plate capture applications. It can be used in a wide range of situations, including: rapid-deployment temporary assignments; applications in which the system needs to be moved from place to place during operations; or in vehicle-mounted applications, allowing the user to capture number plates whilst on the move.

REG Mobile can run off a vehicle's battery and is designed to withstand vibration, whether the vehicle is stationary or moving. The unit is simple to set-up and easy to use. It is compatible with ANPR software and has a standard composite video output for use with industry standard storage solutions.

REG Mobile can capture number plates up to distances of up to 25 m, giving it excellent operational capability whether static or on the move.
