New 7t-CargoMaster

Northport, a subsidiary of Finnair for GSE operations, has taken delivery of its first two units of the Windhoff-Vammas Cargomaster 7t-loader at Helsinki-Vantaa and Stockholm-Arlanda airports.

The new 2005 model represents the most recent addition to the Windhoff-Vammas CML 7 loader family. Designed in conjunction with their customers, the new model boasts several improvements that enhance performance, reliability, safety, ergonomics, and the serviceability of their loaders. An extremely sensitive hydraulic driving controls enabling a small turning circle and precise and safe positioning at the aircraft to within millimeters. Fully level transport platforms optimize cargo transfer technology and protect pallets and containers. Load-sensing hydraulics reduce loader wear and tear and fuel consumption, improve availability quotas and extend the lifespan of the vehicle. Electronic engine management manages engine RPM resulting in an additional reduction in fuel consumption and extended operating hours. The engine operates on a "power-on-demand" concept and adjusts the engine RPM continuously for its optimum. Similar improvements are now also available for all loaders up to 30 ton lifting capacity as well as loader transporters.
