Extraction and Evaporation

Buchi offers solutions for extraction and evaporation in environmental analysis: Extraction System B-811, Speed Extractor and Syncore Analyst. With the Extraction System B-811 different extraction techniques (Soxhlet Standard, Soxhlet Warm, Hot Extraction and Continuous Extraction) can be performed in one instrument without conversion of the glass assembly. Each technique follows a fully automated extraction process consisting of extraction, rinsing and drying, designed for unattended operation and minimum system handling. All instrument components in contact with solvent/sample/analyte are fully inert, which eliminates residual effects and ensures low and stable blank values. The Speed Extractor offers an efficient solid-liquid extraction method, using high temperature and pressure to accelerate the extraction process and to reduce the solvent consumption. With its parallel format, up to six samples can be extracted simultaneously within approximately 20 to 40 minutes.
