Micropumping Rendered Simple

To reliably deliver small amounts of liquids or gases – this demand of many a developer or product manager is met by the MDP1304 micro pump. The MDP1304 is a piezo-actuated membrane pump made of plastic, which pumps, for instance, water up to 7 ml/minute. Barely larger than a coin, the pump weighs just 3 g and is self-priming. These features and its low power consumption make the pump suitable for a wide scope of applications in fields such as diagnostics, lab automation or environmental monitoring. Due to its modular set-up, the pump may be adjusted to changing specification requirements. The wetted parts are micro moulded from COC (cyclo-olefin copolymer), a plastic material with good chemical resistance, and assembled by laser welding.
