JUMO dTRANS T04
For many years, JUMO GmbH & Co. KG in Fulda, Germany, has produced temperature transmitters that meet the highest standards in functionality and cover the needs of many different industries.
As well as complex measurement tasks, there are also numerous applications where it is important to match the transmitter to the task in hand with maximum ease, without compromising the high level of accuracy.
The JUMO dTRANS T04 four-wire transmitter series was developed with this in mind, a device that is limited to the main applications of temperature conversion, to save costs.
Pt100 or Pt1000 sensors or potentiometers up to 10 kOhm can be connected to detect the resistance signals. The measuring range as well as the output signal can be set on the instrument itself.
The technician on site is able to select the required span from a choice of 15 measuring ranges, or to define the output signal as 0 10V or 0/4 20mA.
All he needs is a screwdriver.
All measuring ranges and outputs are calibrated with a high degree of precision and do not require fine calibration at a later time.
A user-friendly setup program is available for non-standard ranges that can not be set on the instrument itself. It can be used for configuring these ranges without steps as well as for selecting the sensor monitoring signal.
This is possible thanks to the combination of analog signal path and digital measurement handling that has been tried and tested for years.
Such a low-noise, interference-immune output signal can only be provided in this way, without dispensing with free measuring range selection.
The housing design, too, will meet the approval of plant and switchgear cabinet engineers.
Modeled on the design for circuit-breakers, the JUMO dTRANS T04 can easily be installed in any sub-distribution panel or a switchgear cabinet. All standard masking frames for covering the terminals will fit appropriately.
It is therefore possible to replace or expand existing systems without great effort or expenditure.
The transmitter can be connected without operating instructions, since the complete terminal assignment and the switch combinations are printed on it.
