Not only the high resolution of the new XLImaging USB Camera Series is outstanding. Its colour fidelity and outstanding contrast guarantee maximum quality for pictures and therefore make it the ideal camera for microscopy and video inspection.
Two models are available: the XL-2M with a resolution of up to two megapixels, and the XL-3M with a resolution of up to thee megapixels. Both models operate using Progressive Scan Technology. Progressive Scan records images as full frames so that image components no longer have any time differences and give a very smooth effect. This recording method also nearly fully eliminates interlace flicker. But both models still feature high refresh rates: the XL-2M over 40fps (for SVGA), the XL-3M over 20 fps (for XGA).
The 100-gram light cameras can quickly be connected to all current microscopes and lenses with the C Mount connector, and the USB 2.0 port (cable included in shipping package) provides simple Plug and Play connection to a PC. Furthermore, power is also supplied via the USP port , so a separate power unit is not necessary.
Also in the shipping package: a software bundle that can be installed on all PCs running Windows 2000 or Windows XP. The software is intuitively operated and provides numerous configuration options.
