Xylene Extractables Determination in PP Resins

Polymer ChAR presents this simple and fully automated apparatus for the fast analysis of the Xylene extractables in PP resins (amorphous/rubber content). High precision, robust design and little manpower operation make it ideal for QC laboratories environment. The Cryst-EX instrument is calibrated to provide equivalent results to the Xylene extractables ISO method with an excellent linearty and correlation. The instrument can be used to measure the heptane solubles in the same analysis. New digital IR4 multiple wavelength infrared concentration/composition detector to measure the ethylene content in the whole sample and in the amorphous fraction. Possibility to add viscometry detector.
