Industrial printer for oversized labels
SATO Deutschland GmbH has launched the M-10e, an industrial printer for exceptionally large bar-code formats. SATO is the world's leading manufacturer of label and bar-code printers, and a specialist in data collection systems (DCS). The M 10e can print labels up to A3 in size, with a maximum printing width of 10.5 inches (approximately 26.6 cm). The device prints at speeds of up to 125 mm per second, with a 32 bit RISC processor for rapid data transfer. Its shockproof casing is designed specifically to meet the demands of harsh industrial environments, making it ideal for the transportation and logistics, manufacturing, electronics, and paper and wood industries.
SATOs M-10e produces high-resolution labels with up to 305 dots per inch (dpi), using either direct thermal or thermal transfer printing methods. The device supports a wide range of label sizes, from A3 down to 131 x 43 mm. The user-friendly printer has a multi-lingual display; its 22MB memory enables continuous printing and can accommodate several templates. The M-10e can be easily integrated into virtually any IT environment, and features interfaces for a variety of data-exchange technologies, including parallel USB and RS232C, LAN-TCP/IP, and wireless LAN 802.11b.
