New Infrared Gas Detector

ULTIMA XI is a microprocessor-based, infrared point gas detector for continuous monitoring of combustible gases and vapours in the range 0-100% LEL. It is ideally suited for applications requiring dependable detection without the need for a display, relay or LEDs. Designed around a rugged 316 stainless steel enclosure, the ULTIMA XI is dependable in the harshest of environments.

ULTIMA XI's patent-pending method of calibration has one of the simplest, one-man calibration requirements on the market. The intelligent calibration cap is just placed onto the monitor and the magnetic sensors automatically initiate calibration. A separate hand-held controller is not needed. The intrinsically-safe calibration cap display provides status on zero and span calibration, along with final calibration results.

ULTIMA XI's operation is based on dual-wavelength heated optics technology, providing definitive compensation for temperature, humidity and aging effects. The IR technology offers excellent long-term stability, eliminates the need for frequent calibrations and reduces the overall cost of ownership.
As well as immunity to poisoning and the ability to detect gas in low oxygen environments, it has a non-ambiguous output in high gas concentrations, standard 4-20mA output and is powered from 24VDC.

ULTIMA XI Gas Monitor is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications in virtually any type of industry, including offshore, refineries, chemical and petrochemical facilities, water and wastewater plants and general industry.
