Tubing Composition

Thomafluid High-Tech-Med-TPE-S Tubing represents a tubing composition for the pharmaceutical technology. Besides the pharmaceutical production as its main field of application, the tubing is also used in clinical chemistry, laboratory technology and biotechnology. Apart from its very good compression set, it is very resistant to acids and alkalis.

The tubing is heat-sealable, autoclavable and sterilizable. It has passed the test of „medical compound“ according to the defined medical basic approvals and the Drug Master File (DMF). Its shore hardness is A 60° according to DIN 53505 or ISO 868 at the temperature range of -40°C to +120°C. The material is absolutely free of latex, phthalates and plasticizers. The tubing is universally usable in pharmaceutical production and biotechnology due to its resistance to UV radiation, aging and weather.
