AFM for biological and soft materials

The JPK NanoWizard AFM is designed for life science and soft matter applications. Samples such as living cells, biomolecules or polymers can be imaged in native conditions or air with molecular resolution. Standard sample carriers such as petri dishes, slides or cover slips can be used. The combination with an inverted optical microscope enables simultaneous high-precision AFM measurements (imaging, binding forces, elastic response) and advanced optical microscopy (e.g. DIC, fluorescence, confocal imaging).
