NEW TUBE FURNACES PROVIDE VERSATILE HEATING PERFORMANCE
The new range of GTF tube furnaces with a maximum operating temperature of 1200°C which can accept interchangeable work tubes up to 150mm diameter is now available from Carbolite.
The range includes equipment with seven heated lengths from 300mm to 1200mm in both horizontal and vertical versions with either single-zone or three-zone control. The multi-zone models provide particularly good temperature uniformity or can be used to create a temperature gradient.
The furnaces are heated by semi-embedded, free-radiating elements in vacuum-formed insulation modules, which provide good support and increase the working life of the elements. Removable tube adaptors at each end of the furnaces allow them to be used easily with different sizes of work tube up to 150mm diameter.
Controls are enclosed within an attractive base unit on which the heated section of the furnace is mounted. Vertical models are supplied with an adjustable stand or can be wall-mounted to release bench space.
A wide variety of controllers, programmers and optional features can be fitted to all models.
