Laser Beam Expanders

Benefiting from better than lambda/10 surface accuracy, the off-axis mirror design of the new Laser Beam Expander range from Optical Surfaces produce no central obscuration, better than lambda/5 wavefront distortion and the highest transmission efficiency. Using zero expansion glass mirror substrates the company's laser beam expanders provide high operational stability. As standard all mirrors come coated with aluminium and magnesium fluoride proving achromatic performance at any wavelength, from the infrared through the visible into the ultraviolet. For applications demanding the highest reflectivity and high damage threshold, ultra-hard laser coatings are available, whilst other coatings supplied include protected silver and gold.
