Precision Optical Mounts

Two new technical data sheets have been announced by Optical Surfaces detailing their range of precision optical mounts. The OS 300-600 series mounts provide high performance for large precision optics such as off-axis paraboloids & spherical or flat applications where stability of pointing is important. The robust mounts are available in four standard sizes giving optical apertures from 305 mm (12 inches) to 550 mm (21.6 inches). To ensure operational versatility and flexibility all mounts provide precise micrometer screw adjustment about both vertical and horizontal axes. Various motorised mount options are also available to suit applications in hostile environments or where limited space makes manual
adjustment difficult.
