Vision Components: VC Power SOM

Vision Components introduces the VC Power SOM FPGA-based hardware accelerator that enables complex image pre-processing, can be easily integrated into designs and offers more flexibility in processor board selection. Measuring 2.8 x 2.4 cm, the module handles image processing tasks such as color space conversion, bar code identification and data fusion in multi-camera applications. The SOM is initially available with open FPGA for customer programming and with demos. For production use, it can be combined with a carrier board with Mipi I/Os or integrated directly into a motherboard design. The SOM is designed for easy design-in for embedded vision.
