The stove guard consists of two parts: The sensor unit and the control unit. The integrated infrared and temperature sensors detect temperature and temperature changes and trigger an 80 dB(A) alarm signal in critical cooking situations. If the pre-alarm is not turned off by pressing the button on the device, a radio signal is sent to the control unit which automatically cuts off the electricity supply. A built-in intelligent timer detects if the hob has been left on and cuts off the electricity supply after a preset time. The sensor unit is simply attached to the cooker hood with integrated magnets, the control unit can be installed by an electrician in a few minutes. The device complies with the EU standard EN 50615:2015.
