rotarus smart– the 50th anniversary edition

These laboratory instruments today provide advanced problem solutions for daily work in medical, biological and chemical laboratories, research and applications in industry. The introduction of the rotarus peristaltic pump series in 2012 saw Hirschmann successfully take a further step into the world of continuous dipensing pumps. This product family will be supplemented by a special edition of two new members.

Limited anniversary sets
The anniversary edition contains three sets, each consisting of a rotarus smart drive and a pump head and all available at an attractive anniversary price of € 1.950,00. The new drives can be combined in the set with pump heads from the previous rotarus series:

• rotarus smart 30 with pump head PK 10-16
• rotarus smart 40 with pump head PK 10-24
• rotarus smart 30 with pump head 4-8

The black powder-coated housing with the anniversary logo conforms to protection class IP 43 and is ideally suited to use in the laboratory. rotarus  smart can also be easily integrated in an existing laboratory environment or production system, thanks to its low space requirement. The screw-on pump heads can also be supplemented where necessary through heads already available in the rotarus series.

rotarus smart rounds off the selection of rotarus pump drives in the basic segment with two 30 and 40 Watt class DC motors. They ensure precise delivery in speed ranges from 3 to 350 revolutions per minute.

rotarus smart 30 rotates quicker and, with an appropriate pump head, is ideal for the delivery of low-viscosity media.

rotarus smart 40 generates greater performance with slower revolutions. Motor gear reduction is realized with a 2-stage planetary gearbox, thus providing sufficient power for even higher-viscosity media.

The control panel on the housing enables simple and rapid configuration of the most important parameters on both variants, and the speed can be programmed directly on the unit.
