GigE Vision compliant cameras with CCD & CMOS sensors / the Baumer VisiLine series

Early May was the beginning of series production for all product variants of new Baumer VisiLine cameras. The GigE Vision compliant cameras feature CCD and CMOS sensors. High-performance SONY CCD sensors deliver up to 160 fps in VGA, 1.3 and 2 megapixel resolutions. The 2 and 4 megapixel CMOS variants utilize CMOSIS CMV2000 and CMV4000 sensors to provide frame rates of 55 respectively 29 fps. Thanks to FPN (Fixed Pattern Noise) correction and the HDR (High Dynamic Range) feature, sensor-related distortion in the image structure will be eliminated for most homogenous images even in scenes with substantial brightness difference.

All VisiLine cameras feature integrated color comparison to make sure all cameras of a series provide virtually the same capabilities in color reproduction. This will be a particular point in applications where several cameras are deployed in parallel. Standard features such as Multi I/O, PoE and replicable user sets further add on overall system flexibility, simplify camera integration and reduce future maintenance. The proven Baumer industrial camera design with optimal housing properties for heat dissipation ensures ultra-precise and long-term stable sensor position.
