IXG Camera
A 50 GigE connection with RDMA is used for image transfer directly to the application memory of the PC. Even more powerful versions are possible up to 100 GigE. The scalable camera design makes the platform easily adaptable to different application requirements, without additional cabling effort. In addition, the integration of RDMA enables performance of up to 100 GigE in the most powerful version at a CPU utilization of less than 3 percent.
With GigE Vision over RDMA, all protocol processing for image transmission is offloaded to an intelligent network card in the hardware. The camera can write directly to the application's image buffer via the network. The operating system is bypassed. This makes communication and data transfer much more efficient.
The QXF platform cameras are suitable for demanding applications, such as 3D measurement technology using stereo methods or laser triangulation, but also for applications with very large measuring ranges that cannot be covered by a camera alone.
