Kaba Gallenschuetz: Orthos Detect PIL-M06

The Personal interlock Orthos detect PIL-M06 is designed for reliable detection of explosives, narcotics and even toxic gases in connection with efficient individualized access. Inside of this interlock the complete human body can be tested for dangerous materials by means of an air duct system and sensors for the detection of certain substance classes. Microscopic quantities of less than 10 µg can be detected.

Recognized are all relevant explosives, and also all dangerous materials and narcotics of a known chemical composition. The analysis is done simultaneously for all registered substances. The whole interlock passage takes about 25 seconds, including the detection procedure of about 10 seconds.
