New eyevis Products highlight innovative cars at IAA in Frankfurt
Only three month after infoComm in Orlando, where eyevis first showcased their new omniSHAPES, these new product will be used to visualise promotional content at the international motor show IAA in Frankfurt. The flexibility of these new display units convinced the world's largest automotive manufacturer to choose this new product for its stand at the world's leading motor show. Especially the possibility to realise convex and concave curved screens attracted the interest of the design agency "Volke Kommunikationsdesign" reliable for the stand. A total of 250 omniSHAPES units is used to raise different video wall configurations on the stand. The A/V installation is made by CT Germany which included the new omniSHAPES to their product range.
A further new product used on other stands at IAA in Frankfurt is the new transparent LCD by eyevis. These translucent screens provide an absolutely new possibility to combine digital video content with real exhibits positioned behind them. The transparent LCDs by eyevis, available in 22" and 46", have no own backlight and use the surrounding light to create a visible image on the screen. In Frankfurt transparent LCDs will be used by CT Germany for the stand of Audi, and on the stand of Mercedes Service for which "Wire" made the design carried out by "Music & Light Design".
Of course eyevis staff will also be present at IAA in Frankfurt to give information to those people attracted more by the visual display solution than by the new cars showcased.
