RK Rose+Krieger: RK Safelock Retention system secures gravity-loaded linear units

The RK Safelock safety bolt integrated in linear units permanently prevents unintentional falling on the vertical axis during the entire life cycle of the linear transport system (installation, maintenance, repair and dismantling). RK Safelock works independently of the motor brake and therefore blocks the axis even when the drive unit is removed and the normal brake function no longer exists.

The safety bolt is automatically activated if the pressure drops, and the RK Safelock will support the load in its current position. Accidents during maintenance work caused by falling sleds are thereby prevented. Retention is also guaranteed when the tracks are greased, and for linear units with an integrated RK Safelock is up to 2.000 N.
