Fast and easy surface charge evaluation

The Mütek SZP-10 System Zeta Potential from BTG detects the surface charge of solid particles. Surface charges play an important role in many industrial processes where the SZP can be applied whether these are fibers, filters, textiles, pigments, colors, surface coatings or filtration agents.

Therefore a product’s surface charge is often used as a quality control parameter. Examining a sample before and after contact with an chemical additive reveals the efficiency of the selected additive. It also indicates adsorption or desorption behaviours and pHsensitivity. Measurements with the SZP are easy and quick, especially because it does not request tedious sample preparation - process samples can be taken as they are.
