Safety Light Grid

Until now, innovation steps in the field of safety light grids were rather low. With the revolutionary miniTwin, however, SICK has ushered in a completely new era for light grids. For the first time ever, the sender and receiver are located in a single mini housing unit, so that hazardous points can now be protected using two identical units. The compact blind-zone-free design and also the smallest protective field heights of 120 mm, increasing in only 60 mm steps enables a previously unattainable level of integration into the machine design as well as completely new protection concepts. With simple, LED-guided start-up and colour LEDs for quick alignment and "double-sided protective field visualization", commissioning is child's play.
