Powerful PC-camera with 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor, large choice of sensors and a multitude of interfaces

With its Intel Atom processor, the CheckSight PC-camera is a combination of industrial camera and PC with multiple interfaces in a single ruggid housing.

The Camera is available with a choice of 26 different monochrome or color sensors with resolutions from VGA up to 5 Mpixel. Either C-mount or CS-mount lenses may be used.

The camera has a energy saving 1.6 GHz CPU and 1 GB DDR2 RAM clocked at 800 MHz. Permanent memory is via industrial grade compact flash card. The CheckSight has a Gigabit Ethernet interface to connect to neworks. A DVI-D interface offers connection of monitors or projectors with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 pixel. In addition, the CheckSight has audio I/O for connecting a microphone and speakers. Peripherials can be pluged into the three USB 2.0 ports.

There are 2 TTL-inputs, 2 TTL-outputs, 4 fast optocoupler inputs and outputs as well as a RS 232 interface built into the camera.

The operating system used on the CheckSight is currently Windows XP SP III from Microsoft. Other operating systems willl be supported. The CheckSight's camera software is fully GenTL compliant. Therefore all major image processing libraries such as Halcon, OpenCV and Common Vision Blox can be used. Also your own image acquisition code can easily be created using the Simplon Software Developers Suite, which comes with an API for C/C++, C# and VB.Net and helpfull tools like the Simplon Sourcecode Generator, and extensive Documentation.
