Pike F-1600: 16 Megapixels for Demanding Applications
The new 16 Megapixel Pike F-1600 is a premium digital camera designed for demanding applications where image quality, sharpness, precision and details are essential, such as those in the sciences or in medical technology.
16 Megapixel Kodak-KAI 1600 CCD Sensor
The Pike F-1600 features the 35mm Kodak KAI-16000 (4872x3248)CCD sensor, which includes features such as progressive scan readout, electronic shutter, high sensitivity, high dynamic range, low noise, low smear, anti-blooming and precise exposure control to provide excellent image quality and performance.
The Pike F-1600 features an advanced user-selectable tap readout function (single or dual tap). This allows for example to eliminate potential tap balance issues by selecting the single tap mode.
The Camera’s F-mount is compatible with a wide range of high quality off-the-shelf lenses.
Two IEEE 1394b Ports
The Pike F-1600 is equipped with two IEEE 1394b connections for easy daisy-chain networking. Along with the classic copper version, an optional version with one copper and one fiber optic connection is available when longer distances are required.
As all other Pike cameras, the F-1600 comes loaded with a wealth of smart features including high SNR mode (up to 24 dB better signal-to-noise ratio), programmable LUT, white balance and hue as well as debayering, smear reduction and many more.
The Pike F-1600 is also available with modular concept options including various IR cut/pass filters, Hirose power: out , angled-head and M42/M58-Mounts.
