Non-contacting SIDENT Safety Switches with BG- and UL-Certification

In addition to the BG-safety certificate (in accordance to safety rating 4 conform EN954-1) the SIDENT series has also been certified according to UL 508 for USA and Canada.

These safety switches work non-contacting with a particularly high switching distance of 20mm. In combination with an actuator (unique transponder code) they are very manipulation-safe, can be easily mounted and have high tolerances against vibrations, are robust and maintenance-free against dirt collection.

Successful fields of applications are e.g.: Monitoring of safety fences, -doors and roller gates, protective covers at machines and systems, the monitoring of safe positions of robots, saws and processing machines, e.g. for gypsum or wood (especially with humidity and contamination), crushing gears and mill works in dusty- and dirty surroundings.

Different variants allow further applications, e.g. for roller gates and rotary tables (interrogation of up to 4 positions with individually coded actuators) or as position detector with up to 15 actuators (without safety code).
