Advanced Separation

Wyatt Technology Europe has introduced its new Eclipse 3+, an advanced separation system employing asymmetric flow-field flow fractionation (AF4). It is the fourth generation of the tool for the separation and characterization of proteins, aggregates, liposomes, viral and nanoparticles and others. The instrument separates molecules and particles in sizes ranging from several nanometers up to micrometers in high resolution and non-invasive manner. By means of a variety of separation channels, which can be connected to the instrument, the system can be adjusted to almost anyseparation task. The systems one pump only operating system makes it an easy-to-use AF4 instrument. New features are e.g. the Coriflow systems for highest precision and reproducibility of flow.
