Panasonic System Solutions is proud to announce the launch of the new WV-NP502 Megapixel H.264 Network Camera encompassing Panasonic’s revolutionary Super Dynamic technology.

Superior Image Quality
Megapixel Super Dynamic delivers 1280 x 960 image with superior dynamic range by fusion of 3 MEGA pixels CCD and Super Dynamic Digital Signal Processing (DSP). The 3 Mega pixels CCD and Uniphier platform delivers 2048 x 1538 for outstanding image quality, allowing for precise identification. Featuring a Panasonic Megapixel supported lens, the WV-NP502 ensures high resolution of the entire image including fringe field.

The versatile CCD drive modes options allow High Resolution, High Sensitivity, High Frame rate and Superior Dynamic depending on the application requirement. Both power and image data can be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable.

The WV-NP502 allows for multiple streaming H.264, MPEG-4, and JPEG can be transmitted simultaneously, enabling both real time monitoring and high quality recording.

2D-DNR for motion area and 3D-DNR for static area are effectively combined, realising a clear low noise image with less motion blur and resolution deterioration. 30 images/second real time video at up to 1280 x 960 image size captures the decisive moment in JPEG/H.264 mode.

Day/Night Function
With a high sensitivity of 1.0 lux, the WV-NP502 allows for clear colour images even in dim lighting. In addition, the Day/Night feature automatically switches the camera from colour to B/W mode depending on illumination making the WV-NP502 ideal for 24/7 surveillance.

The Auto Back Focus (ABF) feature automatically adjusts back focus by adjusting the CCD position, allowing easy installation and accurate focus in both colour and B/W mode.

Specialised Features
Privacy Zone Masking provides the ability to mask sensitive areas of the image from view. Auto Image Stabiliser function digitally cancels the vibration on images by the advanced digital signal processing. In addition, with Progressive Video Output, the WV-NP502 ensures a clear image with less motion blur and no tearing even when the subject is moving

Scene Change Detection functions enables the camera to detect interference which sends an automatic alarm to the operator. Versatile alarm functions include Image Quality Change, Event Recording, SD memory, FTP image transfer, E-mail notification and Indication on browser. Furthermore, up to eight faces can be detected and transferred as XML data.

Memory Back-Up
If the network experiences a problem, images will be automatically backed up in the SD memory card.

Easy Installation/Set Up
Setup data of the cameras can be programmed with the configuration software reducing setup time especially when using the same setup data to the multiple units.

User friendly GUI allows intuitive operations, reducing the burden on operators. Display mode control, camera control and status monitoring can easily be made.
