New 24V DC fan series

Globally, there are main power supplies, which fall below or exceed the common main voltage range between 230V and 575V, respectively. Being only able to reliably use the same WISTRO device in the entire range between these voltages, the regions apart from those afore mentioned have to be covered by difficult constructions, which are especially for small frame sizes too cost-intensive.

However, having already installed DC sources in many switch cabinets, appropriate fan units can be operated by this power supply. This possibility has increased the demand on devices based on DC motors and, thus, has initiated the designing of a new 24V DC fan series, which is available in frame sizes 63 to 112. Having an equal physical appearance to the existing AC variants, the compatibility concerning the dimensions is given.

Additionally, the DC fan series also include the high protection class IP66 and the high volume flow rate of the AC types. Furthermore, an optionally installable terminal box has been designed, which allows connecting an encoder and/or a brake. Independent of the clamp type, sufficient number of clamps can be installed. Moreover, all common encoders are easy and firmly to wire.
