Infrared and Core Temperature Measurement

The TFI 550 is an instrument for non-contact and core temperature measurement in industrial applications. The infrared measuring range is -60°C up to +625°C with an accuracy of ±1°C (at -15°C to +35°C). Reaction time is of about 1 s; the distance to spot ratio is 30:1. If an external NiCr-Ni probe is connected, the measuring range is enlarged up to -64°C to +1,400°C. The external probe operates with an accuracy of ±1% of the measured value at +20°C to +26°C or ±1°C (the larger value applies).
