Microliter UV/Vis Spectrophotometer

The In-Tip detection method used by Picodrop provides a simple, safe and cost effective method for measuring microliter volumes of DNA, RNA, Proteins, Microarray Dyes and Cell cultures. The companys software displays a graphical representation of the reading allowing the user to view the spectral curve of the reading across the entire spectrum from 230 nm to 850 nm. Graphical overlay of results, color coded graphs allow the user to measure eproducibility or results. Auto-blanking ensures an accurate background correction through detection of background and stray light across the entire spectrum. The software will only allow sample measurements once the blanking meets stability criteria. The software allows users to store a single or a set of data and export to Excel or ASCII format.
