Surveillance Cameras with PoE

Lumenera Corporation is shipping the series network cameras with Power over Ethernet (PoE) as a standard configuration. The companys offering is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3af specifications for either power mode A or B, making it compatible with a wide array of commercial off-the-shelf network switches and power injectors. PoE will enable users to run power to their device via a 10/100baseT Ethernet cable, significantly lowering installation costs and services with reduced cable runs. The external power supply requirement will change to 12VDC.
