Preparative Scale Chromatography

Dynamic Extractions Midi High Performance Countercurrent Chromatography (HPCCC) instrument enables chemists and chromatographer alike, to perform high-resolution chromatography and high sample injection masses on the laboratory bench. The instrument is able to offer sample injection loadings of between 2025 grams that allows upwards of 250 grams of crude sample to be processes in an 8-hour period. It is particularly suited to the pharmaceutical development environment. Another advantage is the extremely low usage of solvent. HPCCC uses 1/10th to 1/5th of the solvent that either preparative HPLC or Flash chromatography would use to process the same sample mass. Therefore, the time required and equipment required for handling and disposal of the solvent is significantly reduced.
