Inverted Microscope for Metals and ­Materials Analysis

An inverted metallurgical microscope designed specifically for inspection and analysis has been launched by Nikon Instruments. Combining an ergonomic design with a reduced footprint, the Eclipse MA200 incorporates an integrated intelligent nosepiece, making it ideal for inspection, QC, evaluation, measuring and analysis of key parameters in metallic and electronic components in the automotive, electronics and materials-related industries. Optimised for digital imaging and ergonomic efficiency, the instrument can be connected to a range of the companys digital cameras and configured with imaging software for seamless, comprehensive image and data acquisition and processing. The new cube-shape design of the microscopes body requires one-third less surface space than the conventional model.
