Highest performance in the 4U 19-inch system

As standard, the 19-inch 96I4408-MBQ87 system is supplied with an Intel® CoreTM processor of the 4th generation i7-4770S (3.1 GHz) with four CPU cores and 8 MB cache. Alternatively, the Industrial ATX Board of the IPC can be equipped with the quad-core Intel® CoreTM i5-4570S (2.9 GHz) processor or with the dual-core Intel® CoreTM i3-4330 (3.5 GHz) processor.

DSM Computer's Infinity® series is characterized with a high flexibility thanks to the possibility to install various drives and the provision of many free slots that allow the insertion of additional plug-in cards. The 96I4408-MBQ87 offers seven free slots: one PCI ExpressTM 3.0 x16, one PCI ExpressTM 2.0 x16, one PCI ExpressTM 2.0 x8 and four PCI. In addition to two 5.25-inch drive bays, a 2,5-inch bay is also present internally. A 500 GB 2.5 inch SATA II 300 hard disk (or larger) is integrated in the housing. A 5.25 inch DVD-RW drive (SATA), a 2.5 inch SSD or an mSATA III SSD can be installed as option.

In addition to four USB 3.0 (two at the rear and two internal) and eight US 2.0 ports (two at the front and six at the rear), an internal USB 2.0 stick socket is present. Furthermore, the computer is equipped with two Gigabit LAN connections, two COM (RS232), two PS/2, audio, SATA for six SATA III 600 drives (with support for RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 5) and a socket for mSATA III. An external DVI-I interface and two DisplayPort interfaces are provided for the connection of modern displays.

With an installation depth of 408 mm, the robust computer system is designed for installation in 19-inch cabinets or as stand-alone device in a harsh environment. An easily-changed air filter is mounted for dust protection on the front side of the functional, gray-colored industrial housing. The operating elements and the drives are located protected behind an anthracite-colored metal flap. The housing can be given a customer-specific company logo. The rated operating temperature range of the 19-inch system is 0° to 45° C. As standard, the industrial computer is delivered with a 600 W power pack (115 - 230 VAC) 80 PLUS; a redundant AC power pack or a DC power pack (12, 24, 48 VDC) is also available on request.
