Large Format Lens for 43.3mm sensor – LM50IR

Kowa introduces its first large format IR-corrected lens with 50mm focal length to the market. LM50IR will support wavelengths from visible light to NIR (near infra-red) maintaining extremely high transmission up to 90% for wave length between 400nm up to 1000nm.

Due to very close relationships with leading camera manufacturers, Kowa succeeded in designing a state of the art product for the new generation of multi-spectral cameras. LM50IR is an excellent choice for various applications like NIR Area Scan Inspection, Day/Night Number Plate Recognition in the ITS market and Colour Line Scan Applications with Quad-linear cameras (4-Line, R, G, B + NIR).

Special characteristics of LM50IR are: elimination of focus shift between visible light and near-infrared; low distortion and large format with 43.3mm. This lens is available as F-mount or P-mount version.
