EndoTrap®: Highly efficient endotoxin removal
Endotoxins or lipopolysaccharides (LPS) often represent a severe problem to research & development due to their immunogenic and toxic properties. But also biopharmaceutical products such as drugs or vaccines may be affected by this issue. Since endotoxins have various pathophysiological effects in human only products particularly parenteraly administered drugs with lowest endotoxin levels are approved for sales.
Reaching LPS levels lower than 0.1ng/mg (1 EU/mg) in biological samples or products remains a challenge and only products with highest LPS removal capacities combined with reliable sample recovery rates are adequate.
In order to meet this challenge Hyglos offers the EndoTrap® product family.
EndoTrap® reliably removes endotoxins (lipopolysaccharides / LPS) from aqueous solutions of e.g. proteins, antibodies, vaccines, nucleic acids, buffers and various other substances with excellent sample recovery rates.
