MicroVista is the world's first back-illuminated CMOS camera for scientific and industrial applications including microscopy, medical imaging, machine vision, and general purpose low light imaging between 200 and 1100 nm.

Microvista's back-thinned CMOS sensors has all of the advantages typically found in scientific grade CCD's including 100% fill factor, high QE, low read noise, low dark charge, and flexible ROI settings. Additional advantages not typically found in CCD's include high frame at full sensor resolution (1280 X1024, 10.8 µm pixels), very small form factor and low power consumption.
