IDENTControl now also with ProfiNet connection
The serial connection of ident systems and the connection to Profibus and DeviceNet is the state of the art in many branches of industry. Added to these are bus systems such as the Industrial Ethernet, which represents an extension of the existing Ethernet network up to the lower automation level. The IDENTControl System from Pepperl+Fuchs now also supports the ProfiNet protocol.
The IDENTControl System from Pepperl+Fuchs excels not only with the mixed operation of various ident systems (125 kHz, 250 kHz, 13.56 MHz and 2.45 GHz); it also enables a connection to all current bus systems in addition to the serial connection. Most recently a connection to ProfiNet is also available. Thus the IDENTControl System offers the correct solution for any application. Existing Ident systems can also be simply and quickly converted to ProfiNet, in that this requires merely the replacement of the evaluation unit. All read devices can thus be connected to ProfiNet without problem. It is not only the high transfer rates that can be used to advantage – additional performance characteristics, such as the Web-Server functions can also be used. So the combined advantages of IDENTControl and ProfiNet make good sense.
