Gas moisture measurement according to the psychrometric principle

Different measurement methods compete in the broad market of gas moisture determination. Frequent problems such as the corrosiveness of noxious gases or the clogging of filters by dirt particles carried along in the gas flow considerably influence stationary measurement systems The psychrometric measurement principle of Hygrophil H reduces these disadvantages to a minimum. Due to its system-related design, the measurement cell can be cleaned or replaced without any need of recalibration. This guarantees a continuous operation without down-times for the user.

The process hygrometer is perfectly suited for the determination of the absolute moisture content in exhaust gases of conventional power stations and biomass power stations as well as in waste incineration plants.

For the determination of the moisture content in the exhaust air of industrial dryers, usually a constant product quality and an optimal energy exploitation are required. These requirements can be realised via the exhaust air moisture, which is proportional to the material moisture.
The outstanding features of the process hygrometer type 4230 are its extraordinary long-time stability and its resistance even to aggressive gas components.
