Metrohms potentiometric titrator, the 857 Titrando, is an advanced technology to prevent mistakes related to traceability while titrating. All the information about the titrant and burette is stored on a micro chip on the burette base plate. All this information is then read by the Titrando when the burette is attached, so mistakes associated to the titrant cannot happen. Another gap in traceability formed the electrode, which is now closed by 857 Titrando with iConnect. The 854 iConnect is electrode cable and measuring amplifier in one. Use of both prevent the use of an incorrect electrode or an electrode whose calibration period or working life has expired.
